3500 Calls In 1 Minute To Fight Against Covid19.

When Computer Vision played out loudly in temperature screening in fighting against pandemic recently, Natural language Processing (NLP) also found its own battlefield in this war.

Emotibot Technologies is a leading AI company specialized in language, image and voice triple human-computer interaction technology — -”multimodal emotion recognition technology”, just launched a full stack open-source AI platform Bot Factory™2020.

Emotibot’s platform is to enable robots to read, see, listen, remember, self-learn, and actually understand your emotion, as well as understanding the affective states, emotions and intentions of the speaker like real human beings do.

Based on Bot Factory™2020, the company provide two products, “hotline voice outbound robot”, “Q&A Bot” to the community and government to cope with the surging demand of communication on Covid19 development.

The “hotline voice outbound robot” is designed for scenarios of calling out to individuals, like sharing epidemic notification, information collection, reception &consultation, Survey, rehabilitation reports and call-back.

1) Epidemic notification: When there is an emergency to notify groups in time, the bot can send out one-on-one fast batch notification. For those who did not pick up in time, redial can be repeated multiple times to ensure that everyone answers and responds.

2) Information collection: Through text information extraction, the bot helps enterprises, institutions and schools to quickly complete the collection and feedback of pneumonia health status.

3) Reception &consultation: It can provide consultation for donations, protective advice inquiry and self-diagnosis to help the hospitals reduce medical pressure.

4) Survey: It can conduct survey on via outbound calls collecting the visitors’ physical conditions e.g. whether they have a fever, asking about close contact history, and automatically generating interviewee status reports.

5) Patients Status report & call-back: For patients in quarantine & treatment, the bot can communicate their development and progress through outbound calls at regular intervals to their families. It can also follow up the physical and psychological conditions of the patients regularly after discharge.

The “Q & A bot” serves in scenarios such as precaution announcement, health advice, etc., to bring the correct methods of masks wearing and hand washing to the masses, to publicize epidemic prevention measures, and to follow the epidemic situation at any time through dialogue. More than 90 institutions have access to the Q & A bot.

At the same time, Q&A bot is pre-installed in the operating systems of smartphone manufacturers such as Huawei, OPPO, and vivo where the epidemic prevention and help assistant can be quickly awakened by voice.

Emotibot also launched Facial Check-in System which can identify employees when wearing glasses and masks, realize contactless check-in, and reduce the risk of epidemic transmission.

During the epidemic, hospitals in many parts of the country were experiencing resources drain by fast-growing number of patients waiting in queues for a long time for diagnosis. This does not only increase the risk of cross-infection, but also causes greater pressure on the patients’ own mental state.

Emotibot teamed up with robots hardware manufacturers Kovos jointly created robots used in hospitals. The robot can provide 7 * 24 hours professional epidemic Q&A service in the hospital outpatient hall and hospital ward. It can also browse the patient’s electronic medical records and image data without contact, retrieve inspection reports and soothe patients’ emotions. Enhancing the confidence of patients or suspected patients to overcome the disease through dialogue, and providing timely psychological consoling to patients. The robot has been sent to the Fifth People’s Hospital of Suzhou City and several hospitals in Gansu.

If You Don’t Know Now You Know:

The founder of Emotibot, Mr. Kenny Chien, was the Vice Principal of Microsoft (Asia) Research Institution and founded Emotibot with other two angel investors in Shanghai in 2015. Emotibot raised 45M USD for its B+ round in the end of 2019.
